99' tahoe
changed master due to sinking pedal but can't seem to bleed this front ABS system down properly. yes,i bled it correctly procedure wise(master and whole sytem) but i think with this system i might need to bring it to the dealer as to actuate the ABS manually with their scan tool.is this right or am i missing something? thank, jpawl Last edited by jpawl; 04-27-2010 at 10:11 AM. |

You might try bleeding with key on.

That I didn't do. I did it with key off and engine running but not KOEO.
Once I find the prob I will let you know. |

Re: Bleeding procedure
I looked in my '98 C/K factory manual and it did make reference to using the scan tool for ABS bleeding. If that's the case in the real world, I can't say.
