1990 buick lesabre stalling help

Hello, My husband has a 1990 Buick Lasabre that keeps on stalling out when he stops. He has replaced several things thinking that they were the problem. Now his check engine light is on and we can't find the OBD hook up to scan it to find out the problem. Can anyone shed some light on this? Also his reverse lights work 1/2 the time as well as one of the brake lights. We checked them and the actual light is just fine, ie. not burned out. Not sure if we need to replace some fuses or what. Any help would be greatly appreciated. If you have any questions let me know and I will try to answer them to the best of my ability.

The obd port should be to the rt of the steering column almost under and near the ashtray.

and with the reverse light,have someone check for power(test light) in the socket when it's in reverse.if it has no power you need to look at the switch on top of the tranny for a possible problem, or push down on the bulb when in reverse to see if it comes on.(could be a bad socket)

Thank you so much. He found the port and will be testing it tomorrow. But now the question is about the blinkers. He said that he turned them on to see if he could here where the blinker was and he heard a pop and it blew a fuse. Any ideas on that? I will let ya'll know what he found when he tests it.

he has a short to ground somewhere in the circuit and will probably have to take it to a expierienced technician now that that happened.it might be to complicated to explain just in writing w/out having a schematic.
