Front Passenger Knocking

Hello,

I have noticed a knocking on the front passenger side of our Van when hitting bumps. It was worst before I changed the hub and I thought the loose bearing was the cause but it appears that there is still something loose causing the noise... The Tie rod ball joint and lower ball joints appear to be tight when I pull them but it's hard to say... is there anything else that could cause this such as the strut mount or something like that???

Thanks,
Robby

Re: Front Passenger Knocking

Mine did this for several months until I serendipitously (blind luck) found the wing nut holding the spare tire onto the (storage area) mounting stud was loose, allowing the spare tire/wheel to flop around and bang against the bottom rear of the body. I have no idea why the noise was coming from the front passenger side, but after I ran the wing nut up tight to hold the spare against the underside of the car, the thumping noise stopped.
