Mercedes R230 SL63 AMG
So yeah, I am back from a bit of a hiatus...
Mercedes SL63 AMG (Still waiting for a model of my daily-driven W221 S600...but I can keep dreaming) Here is the real engine:  Here is the kit's engine:   Wheels  Brakes - I took the artistic license liberty to pain the calipers a contrast color.   I already painted the body and will be waiting to clear coat it before I start taking pics

Nice work so far! I have just begun this kit too. A few of suggestions that I am doing with my kit: 1) reshaping front grill slightly, 2) the seats sit far too upright, so they should be reclined a little and 3) attaching the dash to the console. All mods I think will be fairly easy to do.

I'm in! I have the same kit and I'm in doubt of buying the Hobby Design PE-kit....
This WIP will provide answers and already looks promising. Nice clean build and dito paint job! |
