jeep problem
I have a 88 jeep wrangler, drive down the road and turn up the radio and the jeeps starts to lose power and bucks. Batt power is good alter good. what could this be?

I've experienced weird stuff happening with electrical systems, especially old ones.
My thought is that when you turn up the volume it draws more power; then there isn't enough to operate the ignition system. I'd check: 1st: alternator output 2nd: battery 3rd: Positive battery cable for corrosion; I've seen corrosion up to 6" away from the battery, INside the insulation. This will definitely reduce the current flow. Post back and let us know if any of these have a problem...
