97 LSi SDN - Wiper/Washer Switch
The switch is broken internally and the wipers are set on the highest speed. For now I just pulled the wiper fuse so I can still drive to work and whatnot without burning up the wiper motor.
Anyone know where I can find a cheap replacement switch? Richard |

Re: 97 LSi SDN - Wiper/Washer Switch
I wired a toggle switch with the fuse into the fuse box under the dash/steering wheel. It work but only on high. Will that kind of switch pass inspection or do I have to replace it?

Your only chance for cheap is a junkyard, but it's a pain in the butt to replace, junkyard means you'll have to do it twice.

Re: 97 LSi SDN - Wiper/Washer Switch
Do you think a switch assy from a 97 chevy metro work? I found a couple and they look the same.
EDIT: I bought the switch but the connector didn't fit. They had the same functions & color coded wires so I just rewired all the wires to the connector from the broken switch. Works perfectly now. Last edited by Diablue; 03-15-2011 at 08:14 PM. |
