97 Pontiac Sunfire keyless entry remote problems
Hello,
Firstly,I was told to jumper the connector in the trunk and then hold the lock and unlock buttons and the door locks would cycle, then the remote should be reprogrammed. However,in my case ,once I jumpered the connector the rear door locks cycled immediately, nothing happened to the front locks.Once this happened,I removed the jumper but the remote didn't work. The battery is new in the keyless remote. At this time,I don't know what I should do next.If anyone can help,it would be greatly appreciated.Thanks.zul.

Are you sure you have the correct remote for your 97 Sunfire?
