Wiper Delay doesn't work
I have a 98 windstar w/3.8.The wipers work but the delay causes the wipers to stop as soon as it is turned on.High and low work fine.Tried changing out the turn signal switch with a good used one.It didn't change a thing.Still the same problem.Any help would be appreciated.

Re: Wiper Delay doesn't work
I believe that the wipers on this van are controlled by the "Front Electronics Module". That is unfortunate for you, because it's not really repairable and not very cheap. I'm having a very similar problem on my 2000, except mine was that high didn't work. Now nothing works. I'm going to have to address the problem, but I just haven't gotten around to it. I have access to Alldatadiy.com if you'd like to see the wiring diagram for the circuit. It may be slightly different for that year model, but probably not much.
