'04 Quest Seat Stuck In Reclined Position

As the title states, the seat in my '04 Quest is stuck in the reclined position, thanks to the grandchild.

He was messing with the seat, when it suddenly stopped working.

Took it by the local Nissan dealer, and they quoted me a price of roughly $1400. Something about the seats being operated by some sort of computer, or something like that.

At this point, I'd be happy to find a way to simply get the seat back to an upright position, and worry about getting it fixed properly sometime in the future.

Any suggestions, other than beating the grandchild?

Thank you in advance.

Re: '04 Quest Seat Stuck In Reclined Position

Welcome to AF,

Here is a link to the factory service manual:

http://www.nicoclub.com/FSM/

Scroll down to quest and choose year, then go to section SE page 89. This may help you somewhat.

Is it a electric seat or manual.

Sorry I could not be of more help, hopefully someone else can.

Thank you for the link. I'll check it out.

The seat is electric.
