93 ford F 150 5.0

I have a 93 nfors f150. We had problems with several a4od we went through 3 trannys. I do a lot of towing. so we decided to convert it to a manual a T18 tranny. During the tear down we found a wire that was touching metal that was making the truck kick into OD when we didn't put it in. So we just finished the convert. Well now we have a new problem the clutch won't engage. it feels like it is almost there but won't fully release. We put a pry bar behind the clutch fork and tried to see if it was the slave that just wasn't working but the clutch fork doesn't want to go any further. This has been a night mare for us but we are so close we just want to get it done.

a t18 is that a tremec? the trannies that come out of it are mazda zf transmissions. Sure you have the right flywheel and pressure plate? Maybe there is not enough room in the bell housing for the setup. If it worked ever though, maybe the pressure plate is messed up.
