P1152 & p1132.

Hey all having some more problems with the beast, got these 2 error codes read over at AutoZone for me.

I have 01 with 3.0 Flex

Its definitely running rich, sputters when accelerating, and my gas mileage has disappeared. Mileage is the biggest problem dude to how far I drive to work. It's drinking gas.

Thinking O2 sensors? MAF? check for fuel leaks? any suggestions where I should start? I really don't wanna stick a terrible amount of money into it. Since I don't really have any.

Also my Oil light now has the tendency to flash when at idle. It stops whenever the throttle is depressed. Have to wait until friday until I can start looking at it.

Re: P1152 & p1132.

P1132 - Lack of HO2S-11 Switch, Sensor Indicates Rich
P1152 - Lack of HO2S-21 Switch, Sensor Indicates Rich

Since you have codes for both banks, you're looking at something common to both. First to check would be the air filter, and if that is fine, then the MAF would be a good candidate to clean. I'm assuming you don't have access to a scan tool with the datastream mode since you had Autozone read the codes. Monitoring the values on the MAF, Engine Coolant Temperature (ECT) sensor, Intake Air Temperature (IAT) sensor, etc. could help you narrow this issue down better. It would also be a good idea to check the fuel pressure at the fuel rail.

It would seem that your oxygen sensors are working properly and reporting a rich condition. Also a fuel leak would not likely cause a rich condition.

As for the oil light, have you checked the oil level and changed it recently? If the level is correct and the oil is not dark and nasty, then the oil pressure switch may be malfunctioning.

Re: P1152 & p1132.

Thanks. I will try and check all that stuff out on the weekend. See what happens...

This is slowly exceeding my limited car repair abilities, darn... I am not sure what to do now. =(

Should I even bother checking my O2 sensors then?
