2004 Chevy Venture-Rear AC lines leaking?
See attached photo - rear line(s) leaking someplace? Photo is rear left hand side. Green fluid (Not dexcool). Leak is real slow from what I can see thus far.
My wife did engage the rear air conditioning today. Are there replacement lines avaliable? Any advise regarding replacement? |

Re: 2004 Chevy Venture-Rear AC lines leaking?
That should be the dye used in finding A/C leaks. The lines may (?) be available from the dealer or a good A/C shop should be able to attach new hoses to the hard lines if that's where the leak is. Either way you will want to fix the leak or you will be without A/C soon enough.

Discharge the system first! LOL. Buy a new hose. Ebay or the stealership
Hopefully the line has a connection before the engine compartment or you be replacing a very long and expensive hose. |

Re: 2004 Chevy Venture-Rear AC lines leaking?
The lines with the clamps (nearest the axle) are coolant hoses for the rear heater core, They can be repaired easily. The other lines may be a dealer/ JY item only, might try www.rockauto.com, good luck.
Oh and also keep tabs on your coolant levels.
