cant get my air bag light to go off....

i have a 99 gmc sierra an my air bag light stays on an want go off i changed yhe cluster an everthing thing else i even had it put on a machine an it said the air bag is off but the light is on an it picked up a code poo61 anybodt know what this code means... im all out of ideas i can use all the help i can get thank you...

You'll need a scan tool capable of scanning the airbag module for codes.

But the rear view mirror temperature don't work but the compase does will that have anythin to do with it cause aint part of the air bag circuit connects to it
