Do you use automatic car washes?

Do you trust the automatic car wash on you favorite car or do you hand wash it?
What about that stuff they call wax?
Do you use it?
Have you ever tried to take it off?

I always hand wash my cars. A hand wash using a soft car-wash brush on a pole and warm soapy water and a hose takes me about 10 minutes. It's good exercise and is better for the paint.
I resent spending $8 to be lazy and use an auto wash that is hard on the paint

Never use them unless it's on a beater or a truck at the job. I hand wash my personal car. Car washes typically are hard on your paint.

Depends on what I am driving, but yes I do sometimes use them. I just make sure that they are the touch-less ones.
