Focus wheel bearing

Hi, my 2003 Ford Focus (147,000 miles) is making a growling noise and a little vibration while driving. The noise gets louder as the mph increase. Also, I have noted that as I am steering around a left curve in the road the noise and vibration goes away, but when the car is going straight or steering right the car makes the noise. Is there a way to know which front wheel bearing this is without jacking the car up? Thanks for your time.

Re: Focus wheel bearing

Thats would indicate that its most likely the left side wheel bearing because when you go right its putting all the weight on the left side and thats where the noise should be coming from. Hopefully that solves your problem.
