OBD II Code reader not work on 09 E350 SOLVED
My trusty code reader which worked fine on my 96 E 150 gives a link error on my 09 E 350. Did they change the protocol? or do I have more wiring problems?
Problem solved, New reader reads fine. from what I read it looks like old reader may not be CAN compliant. Last edited by lngroller; 04-14-2010 at 06:19 AM. Reason: solved

Check the OBD fuse will cause no communication at the DLC it may share the same fuse as the lighter or power port

Thank you, I think my old code reader is not CAN compliant. I went to autozone and had them plug in a code reader and it connected fine.
