1999 passat

i repalced the motor on this passat 6 month ago 2 weeks ago my check engine light came on with code 1545 (tps malfunction) so i replaced it with the one i have in the old motor no change still the any ideas thank u 4 the help motor is a v-6

You will need VAG-COM to scan your computer to find the issue.

where would u advise me to get one at and are they easy to use

i looked at ebay and they r from 40.00 dollars up to 300.00

The true VAG-COM is about $300(software and adapter). You must have a laptop computer to use the software and adapter. If your not a car person it is somewhat difficult to use. I know you may not want to use your dealer, but that would be my choice. They have everything you'll need to fix your car right. http://www.ross-tech.com/
