Gendercide
I was reading the Economist last night and I came across this article.
It is depressing. The loss of human lives and potential due to antiquated prejudices and grossly unfair cultural practices is staggering. http://www.economist.com/opinion/dis...ry_id=15606229 Paradoxically, as girls and women become more rare in these cultures discussed in the article, perhaps they will become more valued and less victimized.
