bad coolant leak

I am trying to fix a coolant leak that is on a 1995 Neon 2.0L with 135,000 miles on it. When the car starts there is a pretty steady drip of coolant coming from the accessory (passenger) side of the engine. I am hoping it is just the water pump, how can I be sure it is not a cracked head? It runs fine but it is a little noisy.

Re: bad coolant leak

The water pump is behind the timing cover toward the intake side of the engine. Don't let it go until the water pump locks up it will break the timing belt. When that happens it will bend valves. I would also a new timing belt on at the same time.
