some one help

i have a 98 monte 3.1. My car dies out when my car warms up and starts to hit 25 to 3000 rpms. I've replaced crankshaft position sensor(which was hell) idle air control valve and i"ve even cleaned out the egr valve with carb cleaner... If anyone has found or knows a solution please let me know its driving me crazy (i also dont have any trouble codes check engine light off)

Re: some one help

Welcome to AF, dies out means? stalls won't start? Loses power at speed but keeps running, info is lacking for any help.

Re: some one help

sorry about that like once the car warms up the car starts to stall and then begins to backfire. smoke comes from the air filter then when the rpms range from 25 to 3000 the needle begins to bounce up and down. but when the cars cold it runs like a dream once it warms up it stalls. then when it stalls it begins to hesitate to start until i force gas into the engine then the car starts to sputter. i also replaced the fuel filter and it was pretty heavy so i sat it upside down and had dirt in the gas....Could the sediments be clogging fuel delivery system causing the engine to be losing power even thou i put stp gas treatment and fuel injector cleaner..to be honest my next step will be to drop my tank and filter the gas and clean out the tank and clean the fuel pump and blow out the lines after this im out of ideas. my engine is a 3.1

Re: some one help

If you think the tank is clogged check it out, you can have pressure but low volume, also a full scan looking at sensor inputs should be done, first.
