Intermittent wiper conversion

My 93 "parts" Rodeo had intermittent wipers while my current 93 driver only has the mist feature. Mist is annoying and I prefer the intermittent. In looking over the systems, it seems as though the only change I'd need to make is the button control module on the instrument panel and replacing the existing "jumper" with the wiper relay in the fuse box under the hood. Am I missing something, or could it really be that easy?

Re: Intermittent wiper conversion

Yes, it could be that easy. My 99 Rodeo didn't come with driving lights but the wiring was all there. Simply added a switch, plugged in the relay and connected the wires to the lights. The wires for your project could be just as easy but I don't know for sure.

Re: Intermittent wiper conversion

Thanks, Cat. That's all there was to it. It was an easy and fairly quick swap and is working like a charm!

Now if I could just figure out a simple way to pull the heater control out of the dash so I can get all the levers clipped in the right position. Believe me, the Autozone instructions aren't even close.

Thanks again!
