No horn!!

I have a 1990 lumina and I brought it to get two new rims put on at my school and a kid pulled back where you push to use the horn and now it doesnt work. How do I fix it.

Re: No horn!!

I'd start by using voltage tester on the fuse and circuit, even if the fuse is good, if no voltage on the circuit, the circuit is dead.

Re: No horn!!

Thanks JDL. I tested the voltage and it was dead the fuse was blown. it shorted out. I replaced the fuse and it still didnt work so I ended up taking the center of the steering wheel off and found the metal plate on that part and it has broken of in a spot where the two pieces connect when you push. Thanks
