Re: Where can I buy Quick Struts for Rear

I did go to Canadian Tire and I also tried to google but no one seems to be selling quick struts for our beloved Intrigues. Reason I want the quick struts is the rear passanger side sits 2 inches lower. If I have to replace the springs seems like a nice solution vs. buying all the pieces. If you guys can point me to a site that would be great.

If you type rockauto.com and intrigue and rear and struts, out comes this:

http://www.rockauto.com/dbphp/x,carc..._Assembly.html

So what do you think "READY MOUNT STRUT, COMPLETE ASSEMBLED UNIT" and the significantly higher price means? Re-reading your OPs, it seemed like what you wanted was struts that were completely assembled with springs that were ready to mount. But if you are hung up on "Quick Struts" by Monroe, maybe a visit to Monroe's own website would have told you that the reason people don't sell them is that Monroe doesn't list them for the Intrigue. If you have to have "Quick Struts," I imagine you might be able to make the rears for the Buick Century work. But I wouldn't spend my money on it.

Re: Where can I buy Quick Struts for Rear

how about gabriels?

http://www.amazon.com/Gabriel-G56924.../dp/B001AMA2UU

http://www.amazon.com/Gabriel-G56925.../dp/B001AMA2VE

Make sure to double check they are the correct one's though. The really strange thing is that the left one is half the price of the right one.

Well, I don't think you are gonna get any cheaper than the only ones that are available.

Re: Where can I buy Quick Struts for Rear

yes, they're thief. It's better to buy new, it'll last longer. Monroe offer life-time warranty.
if you bough used, it may last 6 months, you don't know.
