Many Thanks to all who contribute to this forum!!!

Just wanted to post my gratitude to all you guys and gals that make this forum one of the most valuable tools in car maintenance and repair. I just finished replacing the power steering pump, hoses and serpentine belt in my 95 Grand Am SE 3.1 and could not have done it with the help of you folks. Almost everything I needed to know was in here. The only thing that stumped me was how to get the return line off of the rack. I never did figure it out, so we just cut the line and hose clamped the rubber hose to it. No leaks and it's nice to have power steering again. I'm gonna have to find a new way to workout my shoulders and arms now. Thanks again.

you need to cut the metal line about 6 inches from the rack, once you do that start moving the line left and right front and back the line will break at the bolt which is what you need, then use 18mm or 19mm socket with extension to remove the bolt.
