A ZELE inspiered 370Z

Well after a lot of hard work and testing of my patience, IM DONE :-) I went with different wheels, dropped it, added 12" sub, turbo gauges, BBK that was inspired by an ENDLESS set I saw on-line, and titanium exhaust. I also tried to build a custom front lip. I have never tried to replicate titanium until now so I hope it looks ok I always said I would not enter a contest until I built something I felt good enough about. Well this puppy is beign submitted on a local contest on the 17th.

We'll see how it goes

oH my buddy showed me how to take pics and I figured out how to get the large pics uploaded lol

The whole car looks cool however, just one thing I picked up and I know my models aren't perfect but the body line black looks a bit blootchy. When I do the body lines, I use a fine tip felr pen. Just my comment but other than that, the car looks sweet!!!

Thats because of 2 important things.
1- I did not know about scribing lines before paint
2- Areas that had to be glued together gave me some problems, which I had to try to repair after car was painted

The positive is that I learned lesson and scribed my next project and have better results. Will try permanent marker I have with fine tip

Thanks for the input

Re: A ZELE inspiered 370Z

Congrats on the award, well deserved!! For the panel lines, black always looks fake, try doing a dark mixture of the body colour & thinning it down, ie 4parts gold to 1 part black to 10-20 parts thinner, & let the capilary action of touching the brush to the body pull the paint into the panel lines. But otherwise its a very sweet looking Model, what Gold did you use?
