Nissan Terrano with Motorcycle Trailer
Hi there,
after finding the old MPC motorcycle trailer in the parts bin yesterday and beefing it up a little, I needed a tow vehicle. Since there will be a Kawasaki on the trailer I thought a Japanese minitruck would be the right thing to have. Aoshima makes a nice Terrano that suits the Kawa very well, because it's also from the 80's. This kit is like an old Tamiya kit. Put glue and paint in the box, shake and you're done. Trailer and interior are almost done, the other parts will be done after easter. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() I know, the flocking ain't that great. This time I used Tamiya colour as a base - and that just dries way too quickly ![]() I added a few more rails to the trailer because it seemed too fragile. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() It's going to be a workshop mule from a Kawa dealer somewhere in the United States. I still have to design the decals. Pics with suggestions are welcome! PS: the wheels are from the Fujimi Suzuki Samurai. The trailer wheels are from some 1/43 car. |

Re: Nissan Terrano with Motorcycle Trailer
Allright, some new pictures after a rather long absence from the project.
Finished detailing the interior. Might add some tint to the front door windows. Wheels are glued on, exhaust and trailer hitch have been scratched. Same goes for the custom front bumper with auxiliary lights. Enjoy the pics (or the real model in FFM coming November). ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Hope you like it. Paint is Tamiya Gunmetal from a rattlecan. Clearcoat some automotive glos clear, also from a can. Wheels are from Fujimi's Suzuki Samurai. |
