unknown module box before radiator

Taking the front apart (140ts: cylinderhead, waterpump, fan problems) I found in front and the middle before the radiator a box housing obviously electronics with only a lable stating some ford numbers - I have no idea, what this could be.
Unfortunatly in the books I find no hint either - would anyone know what it is?

That's the power module. It has the cooling fan/fuel pump relays among other things built into it.
