electric sliding door buttons don't work
Have a 2003 T&C with electric sliding doors. Both of the buttons on the pillar quit working this winter. The buttons on the overhead console work and the key fob as well. The dealer says I have to bring it in, but I can't help but think I could fix this myself. However, I can't find any previous posts related to this problem. I checked the fuse and it's OK, even swapped with another one to make sure. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Re: electric sliding door buttons don't work
Hey, did you use a testlite to check for voltage on the fuse circuit? Even if the fuse is good, if no voltage, the circuit is dead, found a wiring diagram, maybe it will help a little. The smaller fuse circuit supplies voltage to the pillar switch, the pillar switch sends a signal to the bcm, the bcm sends signal to sliding door control module. The larger fuse sends voltage to the sliding door control module.

Re: electric sliding door buttons don't work
thank you. it appears there is a 20amp fuse, but i can't locate it. do you know where it's at? if it's in the fuse box in the engine compartment, what is it labeled? i've also read where there are some fuses under the dash. any help in located the 20amp fuse would be greatly appreciated.

Re: electric sliding door buttons don't work
It's in the integrated power module, aka, power distribution center, under the hood. Do you have an owners manual, it should show the fuse labels and locations?

Re: electric sliding door buttons don't work
i'll look again tonight, but i looked in the ipm and none of labels tell exactly which fuse it is? the labels are actually on the underside of the ipm cover. i pulled all the 20amp fuses and none of them appear to be blown. my father-in-law is coming to town and he's a retired mechanic, so i'll solicit his help troubleshooting all the electical parts.
