got the head on, but now its smoking......
hey guys, i got the head on the 93 accord lx , got all the timing good and everything, but smoke comes out from under the valve cover, anyone got an idea as to what could cause this? everything is tourqued down to spec.....whats the deal? it also seems like it wants to die once i come to a stop and put my foot on the clutch, although, once it is going, it runs 100% better than it did before the head gasket went, with more power, and a smoother starting idle....anyone got an answer?

i think you have some messed up vaccum lines. look for any strangulations in the cable. i get the smoke too but it's just a bit after the engine warms up and i think it comes fronm the worn piston rings, or bad valve guides
