Someone please help or else im gonna fail!!!
ok if someone can please direct me or present their own ideas as to why we were attacked itd be greatly appreciated. I need to write about this for a report and i need to do good on it. anything at all would be helpful. thanx in advance

Other then they were cowardly cock sucking pig fuckers. It can be summed up easy - they want control of a population. Anything that gets in there way or stands in opposition is dealt with harshly. Religion plays a role as well. They're intollerent of other religions (anything but Muslum is illegal in Sadia Arabia as an example) and they have a history of forcefully acerting their beliefs on other people or killing them if they dont comply (sounds like a borg). I dont know what you have to write about, but this is something that'll take many weeks to build a build reasons with supporting evidence.
I guess I should have asked what grade you are in so we have some idea of the depth that you need to delve into the topic.

I don't know how much you've read up on bin laden, but from what I gather he's had a problem with the U.S. since the Persian Gulf War and had declared "jihad" on us several years ago. He already took one jab at the WTC back in 93 and didn't do too much damage..at least not compared to Sept. 11. He is basically a lunatic that wants control of everything around him. He wants to impose his religion and his beliefs wherever he can get away with it. And he has the finances to back up some of his "projects" if ya wanna call it that.
This is a whole different kind of war...it's not about his group attacking us and now its our turn to strike back..its not about land, or taking hostages etc...this is about religious and spiritual issues, but gone too far. Every religion believes in a God or some "higher power"...and most religions work to promote peace and what not. Bin Laden believes in his sick n twisted mind that he is doing God's work. But to me this is not the work of a God or "higher power" that loves and wants peace. You cannot get peace by wrecking peace.
