ram air/cold air

Hey I've been checking up on the hole idea of the ram air vs cold air.
I kinda have an idea and want to know if it would be worth it.
I don't know if many of you are familiar with the grand am se cars, but mine came with out RAM air. I can buy the ram air package for mine, (shown hear) http://www.gaownersclub.com/download...structions.pdf what it does is replaces the old restricted box, with one with an extra hole in the left side which attaches to a hose that is mounted to a skirt that fits over the rad in line with the breather vents. What I want to do is buy the K&N cold air intake system (shown hear) http://www.performance-air-filters.c...ir_intake.html and instead of attaching the ram air hose to the new restricted box I would cut a hole to fit in the isolated cold air chamber.
That way I would be getting 360 degrees of air through the filter but I would also be getting more forced air comming at the filter.
Let me know what you think.
I also wonder if I should get a bigger throttle body?

thanks for your advice.

personelly I'm partial to Ram Air, simply because the system works like a scoop, but the kit can run anywhere from 175 to 225, depending on the site... however if you deciede you want ram air, I could sell you my kit directly off my car for 150, all parts from intake and on, including the air box and a k&n filtercharger(has around 500 miles on filter). I have bigger plans for the engine anyway. just e-mail me if you want more info on the kit. subject: Ram Air.
