93 Si lude rebuild, help!

my H23 is burning a quart a week through the piston rings. i have to rebuild, so i'm looking for some advice from anyone who may have been in my shoes. i don't plan to turbo, but i may feed it a bottle. should i raise or lower my compression ratio? does anyone know my current compression ratio? what are your opinions on brands of pistons, rods, and possibly cranks. i plan on rebuilding my head later, maybe by putting H22 Vtec heads on. the option has been brought up to bore. what should i do?

If you plan to use Nos, lowering your compression is the best thing to do.
