burning rubber

I burned rubber today from upshifting from 2nd to 3rd . Stock tires and stock clutch with minor bolt-ons.

hrmmm...i can chirp through 4th...an all the way through 5th if its a lil wet out...but i'm thinkin its the clutch :o

ive never seen a generation 2 integra chip anything but 1st unless it had a racing clutch but i spun in 4th when it was wet out last week

i can burn 1st and 2nd and chirp third with stock clutch and tires, if its wet out then 4th....

When its wet out I can spin second for quite a while ... thats about it ... sometimes can chirp second in the dry depending on the pavement surface.

Ahh before the nitrous that has been eating away at my stock clutch I could chirp 3rd if I shifted just right. The first time I took my teg out with a 70 shot it smoked second all the way until I shifted b/c there was no sign of it stopping the spun third alittle, It was great

exactly its name...u can change wut rpm the vtec kicks in at. really pointless (bought the car w/ it), honda had it rite when they 1st did it.

I can't chirp from 2nd to 3rd, thank God for toyo proxes


I think chirping = goin a bit slower

KrNxRaCer00, I think you lower your vtec engagment a bit lower so whenyou shift, you land back in vtec, but not so low that you screw up the powerband.

you should be in vtec when you shift anyways, just take it up to redline, ahift quick and you are in vtec, at least in a b16, never driven a b18c1.

but also, when i had my RS, I could chirp into 2nd and to 3rtd every once in a while, if it was wet, when I shifted to 2nd, I could make it spin until I was ready to actually start going some place and let off the gas to get some grip(but when its wet you can do that in about any car). in the snow I could roast em all the way through 5th gear
