No DX had MPFI, they were all DPFI.

So yes it is Dual Point Fuel Injection. So do like 91 said and do the MPFI swap, or upgrading the stock DX engine is useless.

well, next step for you should definitely be a mpfi swap then. All you need is a complete Si manifold (throtle body, sensors, fuel rail) and an Si ecu and you will get so much more power from your engine with those bolt ons. Its not easy because of the wiring but its so worth it. Good luck.

ok how much would that cost b/c im making a list of upgrades from most important to least like my clutch is almost gone (then agian it is the stock clutch from 160k miles ago) like the rims and tires body kit and carboin fiver hood are the last touches

Then get yourself a PM6 ecu. Try ebay but dont pay any more than $75

all 4th gens have PGM-FI, but some have Dual point PGM-FI AkA DPFI (civic hatch and crx and sedan dx's, lx sedans, base model wagon) and the others have Multi-Point PGM-FI AkA MPFI ( civic and crx si, ex sedan, AWD 6speed Wagon)
