Question what body kit to choose?

Ok i used to be one that was against body kits altogether. But recently i've been changing my mind back and forth and what set me over the top was when i pulled into work today and this car just like mine (same color, tailights, sunroof, wheels) had a body kit but i could only see it from behind and it had a dual exhaust. I know that doing that takes away some power but still it looked clean and nice. I want to go with something conservative but with the w-style rear.
Anyone got any companies that offer something conservative that they prefer?
About how much to get the kit installed at a local body shop?
About how much to get it painted too?

If I were you I'd go for the Tsunami kit, but not the full front bumper replacement, just the front lip.

is a kit as hard to install as taking of the stock bumper and replacing it? I've taken off my bumper so many times that i figure that the rear bumper and side skirts couldn't be much harder. But to get the body kit installed wouldn't be as easy right? Do you have to make holes and find different clips or what?

Also, i'm looking for one that has two cut outs for the exhaust but the only one i can find is the black widow.

Guys, I won't comment on the bodykits (some of you know my hatred toward them from the other thread so I don't bother) but Maaco paintjobs really do suck.

Any luck with picking out a kit lately?

I also agree that the Feels kit is pretty nice. I'm not real familiar with the back bumper though. The front is a little big, but it looks good on some cars.

Good luck with your decision.

no, no luck finding a kit. I guess i'll be going with the Black Widow and i like everything about it except that there's this guy around the block that has the kit with the same headlights i got and the 99-00 si taillights. It looks just like mine except in white. Although i don't know the guy, a lot of people seem to have that kit. I'm looking for something like that with the dual exhaust cut-out and i like the buddy club front as well. www.aerotrends.com is close enough that i can pick a kit up from them and the reason i don't want to buy it online is cause of shipping and if there's any problems then it ain't gonna be easy returning things and figuring it out. I don't like the feels kit, too big IMO. My cars in the shop getting repaired and i totally appreciate my car now. :-( i want to get some fenders put on as well when i get the kit done. I'm expecting to have the kit and fenders sitting in my room for a couple weeks while i save some money. This is just a regular body shop that says they can handle it but doing anything else (shaving the door handles, taillights, license plate, etc...) probably they're not gonna know what to do. For now i'm just trying to figure out what kit and where to buy it from.

I specifically didn't comment on the body kits to avoid this sort of thing.

I'm just saying that a Maaco paintjob will give you low quality. It'll lok good for a little while until is starts to fade and crack.
