Comparing Tamiya's 'Gun Metals'

Hi... I'm trying to decide between TS38 Gun Metal and TS42 Light Gun Metal for a future project.

I see these cars painted with TS38:
Max Power's 350Z (click to see more):

Hawk312's award-winning Shelby GT350 (click to see more):

And one in TS42:
MaxSE's ITR (click to see more):

Also in TS42, the wheels from Warren's R32:

While these resources are great, I'd love to see TS38 and TS42 sprayed side by side and photographed under the same light to compare. Anyone?

Ooh, keeping it secret, eh?

I shouldn't be talking, because my AF teen contest project is under tight wraps..

IMO, I like regular Gunmetal better.
