worst weekend wrecked the Maxima

It was going good until the accident. The drive from Reno, NV to Sacramento was great I even got to see the action of the new Neon SRT turbo let loose on the highway to my surprise I was hanging with him with no problem. So well that the driver backed off some got behind me and challenged me, but since it was still wet from the rain and snow the day before and I had some people in the car that are not into racing at all so I let him go on (and the fact that he probably would have left me standing still). While in Sacramento in a funeral procession I hit the car that was in front of me when they had to slam on their brakes because the car in front of them slammed on their brakes. Luckily there was hardly any damage to their car so I don't have to worry about insurance, but my car is messed up pretty bad. The Maxima drove all the way from Sac. to Reno with no problems. The good thing is that since I know how to work on cars and one of the junkyards in town had just got in a 95 Maxima pearl white in color just like mine that was wrecked in the back and the front is in great shape so I can get all the things I need for about $350 bucks. Even though the Max is still driveable it is sad to see it look the way it does.

That's sad. But it's a good reminder to all of us to follow the 3-second rule. Lucky you that you can fix your baby up for cheap.

I will post pics on tommorrow. The bad thing about it I was trying to salvage the hood since the damage to it wasn't that bad and I made it worst hitting it too hard with the hammer on top of that I was holding the hood up and the hammer slipped out of my hand, went down the hood right into my windshield and cracked it so now I need a new windshield. I can get that for $75.
