Last night while heading home from a friends house I was headed down the freeway and some guy is wanting to race. I was in the mood and it was empty as hell, so I did.
I won, and without much effort, but after getting off at my exit I noticed the car was pulling itslef along, and the idle is at about 2500 rather than the usual 900. Now this is the second time my dumb vacuum hose has come off. I tighten it pretty good so I don't understand why. Anyone have this problem or know what do to about it? BTW: It is on the 89' GTC. |

Buy yourself a clamp at the local hardware store. That'll keep it in place.

If you have ever modded a 90-94 model 3000GT, give it a little boost and you will never keep the Y pipe on.. that is an annoying damn thing.
Ended up screwing it to the intake in the end.
