88 dx to b16a swap, help??!
Hello all
I have an 88 civic DX, which so far i have got everything for the swap, here is my list of items: b16a engine/tranny 88 Integra axles ECU Hasport Motor Mounts Modified Shift Linkage Now I am going to wire my dx harness and add more wires for the extra 2 injectors & to run the vtec soleniod. My question is do I have to use my map sensor or should I get one from a 95 del sol vtec even though I have the resistor box that came with the b16a? I've heard if i use my map sensor my engine will run rich. Also can I use the throttle cable from a 95 del sol DOHC vtec since mine will not work? (unless I modify it) Will my clutch cable work as well from the DX? If anyone can help me with this I will greatly appreciate it, or any sites for reference would work also.

You can keep your stock map sensor as i did mine. I dont know about running rich. Never heard of that. If you want to change ur throttle cable then u need to get one from a 90-93 integra. The clutch cable will fit fine but u have to cut off the rubber piece a lil so u have more thread. |

You can use the dx map sensor. When we put the zc in the dx we used the existing map sensor.
