No gas

I own a 1966 ford thunderbird, cannot put more than 3 gallons of gas in the tank, had a full tank when i last worked on it a couple years ago.

Do you mean the tank was empty and and youcould only get three gallons into it? I don't understand your problem. Are you sure the fuel guage is working correctly?
