2nd try at Chameleon

I was wonderin does this look ANY better or am i just doin it totally wrong?

I would like to know how to do this chameleon paint i wanted to know if im on the right track or am i doing it wrong?

I am just changin the color with hue/saturation and then takin a light opacity history brush over the parts i want to be the other color is that the easy way?
