Some questions

Hey everyone, i just have some questions i hope i can get some answers for thanks alot!

1. Does a car accelerate faster if u redline it at first b4 going to 2nd? (a friend of mine redlines it at 1st then shifts to 2nd and goes to 60 and then shifts to 3rd and shifts to 4th around 80 if he's trying to run for speed on a 1/4.. I think his transmission's gonna blow..)

2. What is power shifting and how's it done? (in another post someone mentioned shifting w/o clutch?? didnt kno that could be done..)

3. What is the heel-toe method?

4. What does it mean to double clutch and how is it done?
