Question Drag Radials on GSR, how will they look with stock rears?

I'm thinking of getting some BFG Comp T/A Drag Radials in 225/50/15 size.
My stock GSR tire size is 195/45/15. I'm only obviously going to put the Drags on the front, so my question is, how is ti gonna look?
Will it look kinda weird with those big ass tires on the front and stock on the back? I'm using the car as a daily driver. Should I rather go with the 205 size instead of the 225???
Alos, will I be able to lower the car 1.5" with those size drag radials on? Or will it rub?
All replies appreciated, thanks!

Why would you put drag tires on a street car? Let me guess you're a street racer.

If I'm wrong then 225 will fit on a 15x6" wheel but barely. YOu have to find a shop that will put that tire on that wheel for you. I know two shops in my area that would. But you would need to run spacers to run that wide of a tire or you will be rubbing all the time.

Plus now the car will oversteer pretty bad and in some cases the car can snap oversteer, which not many people can react quick enough to prevent. Hope you're ready to eat guardrails.

plus, the tyres will last you about a month if you're driving it daily.

225's wont fit on a 6" rim. it's a VERY tight stuff on a 6.5" rim, with some brands with very stiff sidewalls not fitting... most shops wont do it. it even looks ungainly on a 7" rim. 225's are designed to fit properly on an 7.5-8" rim width. (225mm = 8.8" tread width, c'mon dammit, i know you know better than that!!)

besides, GS-R stock rim width is 6.5", not 6". 15" x 6.5" wheels.

Actually 225s do fit on a 6" rim. Bunch of my friends who run in stock class have 225 Hoosiers on their Type R and Si wheels.

How long will those tires last with daily driving?

How hard is it to get them on the stock GSR 96' rims?

Absolutely! I have 195/50 15's on my Rotoa Circuit 8 wheels right now, and when I get new tires very soon here, I'm gonna get 205/50's since for one, that's a more available and universal tire size that more models are available in (just like 205/40 17 is as well) and also because it'll give me a little extra foot print to grip with which is nessacery for the Solo2 type auto-x'ing I do with my car. My Rota wheels are 15x6.5 by the way, if that helps you out any, I don't recall how wide Teg wheels are, but I'm assuming either 6 or 6.5 width.

Thanks to everyone for help!
I picked up a pair of BFG gForce Drag Radials 205-50R-15 for $225 shipped. Hopefully I'll like them and be able to drive on the street (and have some fun + lowering my 60ft times) for atleast 5000+ miles until the winter comes.
