neon and fuses

hello. i have 3 interior accent neons hooked up to their own switches on their own circuit. they're OPTX streetglow, 12 V, and i have them wired to my amp. i was going to rewire them today since it was an experiment the first time i tried it out and i did it kinda sloppy, buuuuut, now that i'm rewiring, i wonder if i needed to get fuses? if i do, which amp fuses should i get? thanks for replies!

they are very low power ... shouldn't pull more than an amp or so

highly unlikely if you made tight connections. remember, the fuse is to protect the CAR, not your equipment.
