95 ford taurus loss of acceleration
Yesterday we ran out of gas in my girlfriends 95 taurus gl 3.0. After i had the car leveled out I got the car to start again and sputter to the gas station. Every since then the car is having acceleration problems. When i take off it lacks power no matter how much gas is applied untill it gets up in speed then its fine. Is the fuel pump weak now??? I have had fuel pumps go out after running out of gas in gms before but this is the first ford ive had to work on i just prefer GM myself. I have not got a chance to purchase a pressure tester yet i just figure someone out there has had to have had the same problem. Can someone who knows fords please give me some insight? Thank you.
