Fuel Injector O rings - 2001 buick lesabre
I have a new set of O-rings that came with my manifold kit. My old O-rings that are currently on my injectors look pretty good.
But I probably should change them anyway. |

Whoops hit the wrong button and posted.
Anyway my question is this How do I get the old ones off without breaking the injector? As always a video or pictures would be best for me. But if you describe I should be able to figure it out. |

You have to stretch each one and roll it off. I'd suggest a wooden tool of some kind to stretch them; don't use metal. The GM service manual says to replace the o-rings any time the injectors are removed. So I'd replace them. |

So I guess the front part with the little filter head doesn't come off? Well that makes this a little difficult.
Any tricks of the trade here? What kind of wooden tool would work best? Pencil? I have no such tool that I can think of. |

Re: Fuel Injector O rings - 2001 buick lesabre
Well I managed to get the old O rings off and then new ones on. My fingers are a little sore from rolling them on but I think I managed to get them on properly.
I ended up using a screwdriver to take them off. |
