Question Arrrgh!, cracking tires!

Does anybody know how I can keep rubber tires from cracking over time? Most of the tires on my Arii 1/32 scal models have cracked, and I wanted to know if there is anyway to prevent this.

Thanks.

How old are they? Can you tell if they're real rubber, or that vinyl...?

Try soaking them in in ArmorAll or a similar vinyl restorer.
