95' monte carlo

I was recently racing my friend, and it seems like my car's acceleration is kinda slow now. It just seems kinda doggy and loud now. Any ideas? I checked everything, even noticed my transmission has already been changed by the previous owner. I also got my muffler fixed yesterday. Any ideas, or anyone else having problems too.
