I think this policy is disgusting, and violates many of America's highest principles. Particularly sick to me is the argument for not releasing people due to the possibility of overwhelming refugee runs on our country. One question: what ever happened to "Give me your tired, your poor, your huddled masses yearning to breathe free"?

I'm not sure what you mean by that, but I will say this: it seems like Americans have forgotten their roots. That they came from other countries to find better lives, and that for the most part they found what they were looking for. And during that time, people who already lived here proclaimed the same doomsday crap they do now, and all the while this country is better for mass immigration. As I see it, there are no Italian-Americans, no African-Americans, and no Mexican-Americans... only Americans. We left those places for a reason, and the sooner we can move forward by forgetting the mistakes of our past the better.

For the many people living elsewhere, I'm not sure how familiar you are with this saying, but a long standing ideal is that America is a "melting pot". Lately many have changed this saying to "mixed salad", which completely removes the point of what we have always stood for as a country. America is not a place to relocate and continue with your previous culture, ideals and language unimpeded, but instead the place to find a new way of living, thinking and speaking that can effectively further your dreams. That's not to say people should abandon their ideals for ours, but simply realize what we stand for before immigrating, and either choose to embrace and become one with those ideals or stay where you are.

well what i mean is people interpret it as a type of invasion they believe the money that should be paid to them over systems like social security and pensions is being spent on Asylum Seekers and Refugees

Parties like the BNP become popular because they promise alot of things that they cannot deliver and they are extremely fascist

I do not believe that America is in the position to recieve the amount of immigrants that it did a hundred years ago. I also am very dissatisfied with the allowances given to people who immigrate to our country. Why do you think that every 7-eleven is owned my a person of middle eastern dissent. They seem to be the only group smart enough to figure out that our government will give them a loan to start a business and only make them pay 1% interest on the loan. If I was eligible for this type of loan I would own 20 companies.

They are also exempt from income taxes for 5 years. This pisses me off beyond wording here however since the US is always the bad guy lately it kind of makes you wonder why so many keep moving here. I think its time to shut the revolving door now. Either your with us or against the US. I'm tired of the whining of those that move here, get loans with absolutely no collateral or credit history and put more americans out of work. Hell with them all. In my business there is a clearly marked sign on the front door, I will not serve those I choose. Let someone make me take that down!

If you don't want immigrants running your local busnisses,don't sell them yours.If you don't have a business to sell,you could always take out a huge loan to buy one and work your tail off 80 hours a week to make the payments....

I complain but I do have a successful business, However there are many here in the US that have never had the oppertunity that I have had. Those I'm talking about being born into very poor families or the wrong side of the tracks do not get the almost free loans and breaks from income tax that those from other countries, Primarily the mideast do in fact receive. That has never been fair regardless of which administration has been in charge
