97 Dodge ram 1500 4x4 Front axlel leak
Ok, recently I had to replace the left side(driver's side) u joint on the front axle. I did everything myself and took great care not to damage the axle seal. But with my bad luck the seal started leaking couple months after the repair. I also have a tiny leak at the vacum switch (square box on axle , passenger side) .That small leak is really no problem, but would like to fix it if it's not a big deal. As far as the left axle shaft seal leak, it seems to be getting worse and I have to fix it. So my question is what special tools do I need and what is the procedure to fix it? Taking it to a proffesional mechanic is not an option due to my financial situation.
